Modernization of Gram Equipment, TeknoIce and Tetra Pak freezers

This week, specialists from JSC Polikon went to one of the largest ice cream factories in Siberia. The purpose of the visit was a request received for the modernization of freezers from foreign manufacturers, which in the Russian Federation have ceased technical support, repairs and supply of spare parts - Gram Equipment, TeknoIce and Tetra Pak.

     
     

During the inspection of this equipment, a decision was made to manufacture new pumps, mixers and a set of knives, as well as to replace failed and no longer supplied electronics and automation elements of imported origin. For this purpose, engineers of Poliсon JSCо took measurements of the freezer housing and control cabinet for drawing and further successful integration of similar components into them.

          
     

At the same time, a new frequency converter for the freezer mixer drive was installed on the Gram Equipment model GIF 1500 freezer. The frequency converter was programmed by Polikon JSC engineers and fully integrated into the existing freezer control system based on a programmable controller and HMI operator panel.




In the future, after the end of the summer season, the next stage of modernization is planned - replacing the outdated controller and HMI operator panel with a more modern design and writing a new freezer control program by Polikon JSC engineers, taking into account all the required modes and features of the operation of this freezer by factory workers.
